What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you register to attend EIF National Conference 2020 (‘the event’).

We will use your personal information to process your registration, and to contact you before, during or after the event. These purposes include facilitating your attendance at the event, analysing attendance at the event, providing event chairs and participants with audience information, and providing updates to you relating to the event.

If you register individuals other than yourself for the event, by doing so you warrant that you have permission to provide their personal information to EIF for the purposes and on the terms outlined below.

How may we share your information?

We will share your personal information with third parties essential to the running of the event, including the event venue and catering providers, and online bookings service provider, to the extent necessary to facilitate your attendance at the event and to fulfil our contractual obligations to you. We will share your name, job title and organisation information with other attendees via a published list.

With your permission, we may share your name, job title, organisation and email address with selected third parties for marketing purposes, so they can inform you of benefits and goods or services which may be of interest to you.

We use RegPack to provide online bookings services for the event. The RegPack privacy policy is available via their website.

EIF will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies or organisations outside of EIF without your explicit and informed consent.

EIF stores all personal data safely and securely, and retains information for only as long as is deemed necessary for the purpose.

Accessing or updating personal information

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email [email protected]

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information that you think is inaccurate.
